I've only watched this period but Sven is making a lot of poor decisions with the puck or just mishandling it. Seems to be the weak link on his line.

man baertchi was underwhelming.
i wish they played him in CGY with some vets, but it is pretty clear he lacks the speed, the size, and this point i would have to say, the talent to be able to generate offense.
how the heck did this guy average 2x points per game is unbelievable.
hope this was just a warm up and he can show more otherwise he's a pretty easy cut.

I didn't think baertschi was that bad, he definitely showed a stronger work ethic in going back for the puck and battling in the neutral zone. felt he suffered more from trying to force the play too much and some bad luck. I think he'll have a stronger second game

Hopefully Baertschi can get it going. Granlund and Byron looked good on that line, but would still like to see Granlund with Ferland and Gaudreau at least once this preseason.

It's just one game though. Maybe Sven was nervous. We've seen him play better. He has to settle down or he's definitely getting cut.
