The Flames Home game will be streamed on the Flames app and the Flames site.

EDIT: Both games will be.

Calgary Flames ‏@NHLFlames 54m
Guess what? We'll be streaming both #Flames games against #Oilers tomorrow on http://CalgaryFlames.com !

Can't you do both, though? Put him with skill and line him up against some brutes. The point is to see if he can perform under the adversity of larger, physical players no? Then how can he show that he can perform when he's given linemates that can't even hold the offensive zone? Seems pointless and doesn't gauge much except whether he can dodge a 6'5 Yonkman.

I hope rmilions is sifting through this thread (as he does around training camp time), maybe he can pass some of these questions along, or get some insight on these coaching moves.

Very curious to see the forward lines tomorrow to say the least.

There's a big difference between training camp scrimmage lines, pre-season lines and regular season lines. For prospects I would imagine management would want to see them in many different positions throughout training camp. They come in with an idea of what their good at, so start putting them in positions where they could struggle and see if they play to a level that is good enough for them stay up with the big team.

Whats the info on the split squad. Is it a regular pre-season game that I need a ticket for?

I guess the big question is.....since Johnny almost got deaded, do we need another rule change to make sure the appropriate death sentence is given to the perpetrator.

I think they should cut 6'6" Yonkman who was trying to destroy 5'9" prized prospect Gaudreau. Against opponents sure but why risk a nasty injury in an inter-squad game.

Kick a guy out for doing what he's told to do? They are told to treat it like a real game guess Wolf should get cut for almost fighting sieloff too?

Wolf and Seiloff are big boys who play that game. Highly doubt he was told to go line up Gaudreau for a big hit.

Yonkman was playing his type of game big and physical and Johnny was playing his which is smart and shifty he dodged the hit. He will have to be playing like that his entire career.

Unless he is wearing a non-contact jersey have at him. This is the NHL now, if we have to protect him in training camp then this is not going to be a very fun year for Johnny. This is the time for the coaches to see how he reacts and will respond, no one wants to see him get hurt but no one on the team is going to get coddled.

I know most, most of the regulars are here as well and johnny, Kulak and thiessen.

Diaz, yonkman, sven, granlund, ortio, McDonald and most of the young guns in Edmonton.

They told me this is not coming out of the coaches.

Trying to put together two full lineups that includes the veterans. Tough to do. Some pretty good players are going to be scratched or cut tomorrow.

Something like:

Home

Glencross-Stajan-Jones
Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler
Raymond-Byron-Setoguchi
Bollig-Bouma-McGrattan

Giordan-Brodie
Russell-Engelland
Smid-Wideman

Hiller
Thiessen

Away

Baertschi-Granlund-Colborne
Ferland-Knight-Carroll
Klimchuk-Arnold-Hanowski
Wolf-Reinhart-Smith

Sieloff-Acolatse
Kanzig-Dian
Cundari-Yonkman

Ortio
MacDonald

Well we don't actually know the rosters yet do we?

Since they said the 'headliners' will be playing in Calgary though that's probably the game I'll be watching for the most part.
