I saw this video online last night. It shows why the ice bucket challenge started, and who is the motivation behind it. It's very touching, and may bring around some of the people who have been put off by the publicity of it.

The pope is a man of the people and he seems like a cool and laid back kind of guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he joined in. I would have expected the same from Barack.

The Canadian ALS is getting shafted though. They've only managed to raise $895k because all these celebrities are referring people to the US ALS site.
