taunting??? The guy got pushed around like a little sedin and then caulks off when no one is around lol. I doubt he would have done that with any of the Canadian players close to him.

Would have loved if Calgary somehow managed to leave the draft this year with both Bennett and Ritchie.

Wonder if the Czech player Bennett was in the scrum with walked away with a 10 min misconduct for roughing as well.
He was giving it to Bennett just as much as Bennett was giving it to him.

I tend to agree with this. Perhaps not a generational talent (a word that gets thrown around way too much in hockey circles) but certainly a top end franchise talent.

Is McDavid the best talent to come since Crosby? Probably.

Is/will McDavid the best prospect and player to come since Crosby? That's debatable - Stamkos, Tavares, and MacKinnon are all in that conversation too. It'll be interesting to see if McDavid is able to fully translate his skillset in the NHL.

I was going to say both teams were all acting like children, but I guess that's kind of what they are still. Hopefully though the focus goes back to playing hockey the next time they meet.

Ritchie has a little Todd Bertuzzi in him. Go and sucker punch a guy when he is not looking as retaliation for a clean hit.
