Wolf - 1989
Billins - 1989
Knight - 1990
Jooris - 1990
Hanowski - 1990
Cundari - 1990
May skew the results a bit, but I won't be voting any of these guys due to age.

While I personally consider them all prospects I don't think it skews the results if you don't. The poll question is essentially 'who do you consider the best prospect of the remaining names?' If you don't think they are prospects (no matter how widely or narrowly you define it) you don't choose them. We all are answering the question based on our definition
The NCAA guys who are in their first or second season are prospects to me because they have just become pros and are transitioning to this level. Someone like Wolf though I will probably only consider a prospect this year.

I'm going with Ferland, I think he has one of the highest ceilings of all the prospects. Once he got adjusted to the ahl, he became one of their key guys before the injury. If he can get back to his pretty injury form, I think he plays in the NHL by season's end.
Total package, size, skill, and toughness. Hopefully continuing the tradition of tough flame power forwards (Iginla, Roberts, Plett).

I think around the 27 age where players pass the RFA status, and teams can no longer control them they become unlikely to get a chance at an NHL job. Nothing wrong with a 24 or 25 year old prospect. they just have a short window.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/prospect
1pros·pect noun \ˈprä-ˌspekt\
6 b: a likely candidate for a job or position
Players are no longer prospects when they either
have a NHL job, because they are no longer candidates,
or they become unlikey to get a shot at an NHL job. I would argue Knight and Wolf are probably 2 of the top 10 most likely to earn a job this year.

Sieloff. I think he has the will to be great. He may be a bit undersized for the game he plays but he will play. I like Janko but the one concern is whether he has that same will

I ended up going with Knight. He showed enough skill and hockey IQ last season to have a high chance at becoming an NHLer even if it is likely a bottom line role. I understand the age factor but was voting for the best prospect as defined by the poll.
I also considered Arnold but it was tough to judge him based on one NHL game. Looking at the results I might have to pick Arnold strategically next round though.
I am still firmly in the Jankowski = bust camp and would have voted for any player with a good chance at making the NHL over him.

Corban Knight want even in the top ten in Florida (#13 on their summer HF Prospects poll) when he got traded here, so I can't see him getting higher here

He was voted in at 8th last summer, ahead of Poirier and Klimchuk.

Cundari and Billins have had plenty of time to show whether they are NHL guys or not and both seem to be no's so I don't consider them prospects really any more or if they were they are pretty terrible prospects.
David Wolf has played 5 years of pro hockey unlikely he gets any better than he is so again for me not a prospect or if forced to consider him one a pretty terrible on and behind pretty much everyone else.
When you start to get to that age/experience it no longer is prospect and just is not good enough.

I think we've seen a relatively rapid re-stock in the prospect system after a few good drafts and so some people are also rapidly falling down the list.
Is nice.

Voting Janko here as he has the highest ceiling of the one's left and a great complement to Money and Sam up the middle that might allow us to move backs to the wing.

Honestly, of all the centre prospects trying to crack the lineup in the next couple seasons, I'd like most for Jankowski to come in and grab that 3C position. Just has all the tools and size, nothing not to like. Hope he gets there.

How can you be in the jankowski=bust camp when he hasn't played his age 20 season yet? We won't really know what we have in him until his college career is over or at the very earliest, at the end of next season. Personally I have to see him fail in the AHL or not get an ELC before I call him a bust.

I think voters are guilty of ignoring defencemen as they don't have the sexy stats but Kulak is our next best defence prospect after Wotherspoon and it's time he gets the recognition. My vote goes to Kulak with Sieloff could get consideration as well but he has so many question marks, he drops.

I don't think anyone should write off Jankowski but at the rate he's developing it will be 7 years from his draft that he can be expected in the NHL. At that rate, time could run out for him and the longer it takes the more possibilities for failure. Meanwhile our 4th round pick in the same 2012 draft , Kulak, is ready to turn pro.

I voted for Kulak. I think he's the best D prospect we have after Wotherspoon.
I was tempted to vote for Knight, and i think Ferland has huge upside as well. Jankowski is ~13-15 for me right now. I fully expect that that change after this season though.
