Let's not talk about Canucks prospects in this thread.
I think that a big Swedish defenseman is gonna have to prove to me he can't play. I'm pretty excited about this as a 6th round pick

It says in the article that he was projected to go as high as in the first round by some scouts. I had no idea, if so that is a massive steal for a 6th rounder. The guy is a solid player already and gets some attention back here in Sweden.

Ollas Mattsson was just honoured by his club as the best junior defenceman this season. Might not be saying much considering that it's just a club award, but it's still something!
Now I'll go back to cheering against his club, hoping that we end their season today.

Thanks for the update! Have you seen him play on a regular basis? How is he doing?

I suppose. Depends on how you take my statement. I actually had a big long retort written up, and upon proofreading I discovered it was petty, whiney, and annoying. So I deleted it and posted that. I was being a little crybaby. Follow that up with another big long retort I typed out on a little Gaudreau-Backwards hat @ school discussion and I realised I had to step away from CP for a little bit.
Hopefully I'm all good now. So, yeah... There's that.

He was the 15th ranked European skater by Central Scouting if my memory is correct. He dropped to the 6th round because of injuries suffered in his draft year some NHL teams didn't get a good look at him.
