I didn't think I would like the show but I'm enjoying it. If you don't take it so seriously you'll like it more.

As usual the vocal minority is loudest and the majority of people who enjoy the show are just watching it and not saying much. It's not amazing but it is entertaining. Some people just need to complain and nitpick about every little thing. This thread is a pretty clear example of my points.

I think people wanted Nolan's version of the Batman world and they're getting something more in line with Arrow or Flash.

Ha ha ha but it's scoring just a bit better than the Strain and I don't know about you but that show is in the class of the "it's so bad it's good" and not quality.

Well then really the biggest indicator would be ratings. At three episodes in, it's still too early to tell, but it has suffered a ratings drop:

Although to be fair, early season drops are pretty standard fare for first season shows.
Also, opinions here don't seem to be "nitpicking" at "little things". Most criticism here has been regarding the overall writing and direction/vision of the show. I wouldn't consider that nitpicking.

I'm watching the show and I don't mind it.
It's not the greatest, but for a primetime fox drama that is supposed to be a an origin story timeline, I didn't have high expectations.
Things are woody and bad but, not so bad I'm not interested in seeing where things go.
I like Pengy so far.

Ok, I watched the Balloon killer one, besides the fact that it was a fairly silly way to murder someone, it really established how bad the city is.
The acting was a lot better, the whole Barbara the Bibarian thing was probably not needed.
Fish Mooney plays the dead eye look so well.
Wasn't too bad though.

The Barbara/Jim storyline is THE worst part of the show.
By a country mile.

Really really interesting episode last night with a lot happening.
We saw the corruption of Wayne Enterprises as they were in partnership with the mob over the Arkham deal.
We saw the part of the Bane origin story and its linked to Wayne Enterprises.
We saw Fish's weapon deployed last night
The Penguin is now a made man after nearly getting his face sliced off
Oh and Gordon is compromised by both organizations.
Line of the night "What's Altruistic?"

It's going to be cool to see how they keep working the Bane story in as time passes. He obviously isn't going to be a factor for many years yet but he's there now in the back of your mind as the show progresses. I didn't think we would be exposed to anything like that until the current crop of characters was somewhat dealt with and dwindled down a little bit.
