I think he witnessed the murder and is now scared to talk about it for fear of retribution by the killer and or killers.

So you saw a kid fall off a bike and you reported that to the police? That was the non serious incident? You thought there was a chance the one jogger you saw where the bike accident occurred may have been murdered?

What about you having to pee?

Next time carry a pen and pad of paper in your fanny pack while you roller blade, you can jot down some notes on it.

Guy in line at Orange Julius told me this has been confirmed as a likely suicide.

Just sayin'

That's strange. Especially if there's stab marks, like was originally reported.

"Honey, I'm going out for my nightly jog!"

"Okay dear, are you going to take the new water bottle with you?

"No, I'm gonna take a knife instead."

"Ok"

Did he verify that information by serving up a nice smoothie?

It's fairly obvious that it was a suicide at this stage. Once the police and the media go silent on details, it points that way.

It's kind of goofy, imo. I get why they don't report suicide, but I think they should make an exception once they report something this blatantly. I know at this point it would only serve to satisfy curiosity, but I think it's warranted when you post a big story about a suspicious stabbing death in a busy Calgary park in the evening.

I mean, I know that most people would likely assume suicide, but I think at this point they have a duty to say "This was a suicide" or something along those lines, even keep it to a tiny article. I know they can, because they've done it before.

Actually, after reading the paper it seems that's pretty much what they did. Never mind.
