Funny that not one single person on my twitter feed said that hit was dirty. Although I'm sure if I search Rangers fans then I can maybe find some.

McDonough was already going towards the boards, knew Kassian was right behind him and slowed down to engag him as they went into the boards. Burrows knew McDonough had no idea he was there, took a run at him, and hit him high.

I don't care if it is Burrows or not, that is a cheap play. Any time you take a run at a player who is already engaged with one of your teammates, you're taking liberties with a vulnerable player.

That's cheap.

The Jets and Coyotes are still tied and are now in the shootout. The Oilers score the go ahead goal, 4-3 now.

C'mon. He got a 5 minute major and even Dutchy on TSN said he hated the hit.

It's not exactly a CP bias.

Yes my twitter feed. I do follow people that aren't Canucks fans too and they say the same thing.

I did only see the hit once, and it first look it just looked like Burrows was going hard on the forecheck. Didn't look bad to me at all.

Burrows was coming in with intent to plow McDonagh square from behind. The only reason that didn't happen was that the Ranger was partially spun by
the first hit.

Ya but he didn't get him from behind, so who cares. Girardi stapled Matthias hard into the boards from behind earlier and nothing came of that.
