I was at the game as well, this is what I have to say about the game (I know I am late to the party):
The final score wasn't the Coyotes 3 and Flames 2; it was the Refs 3, Flames 2.
That refereeing during the third period was absolutely atrocious. I can't believe at how much bs calls there were during that game.
I am glad the Flames still gave it their all, and they still did their best even with half of the period shorthanded.
Can't say enough about Ortio. That one bad mishap by him in the first was the only bad goal I've seen from him all year. The rest have been mistakes by the defense or tipped shots. More and more experience will make him one of the top goalies in the next few years, believe me.
Coyotes fans are worthless. Every game I go to, people think they know what is going on. They are Googling on how the game is played, they don't even care and just continue drinking beer.. This arena looked decent because of getting free t shirts. It's embarrassing to have a team down here. It's not just the location, but we'll just always be the oddball sport that is down here. Of course you'll still have those regulars that still go to the game and don't get recognized, but the majority of the people in Arizona don't even know we have a hockey team.
