I'd say that applies to Phaneuf, and not Kessel. Kessel is no different than other scorers really, and scores at a decent click in the playoffs. Phaneuf on the other hand chokes in big situations, and it's a risk having him on your top pairing.

He's a PPG playoff performer.

Oh please. He is soft as butter and never even has been deep in the playoffs.

In other news, Phoenix is up 3-1 on Pittsburgh with about half of the third period left.

Your point is pretty bad. They are the most suspended because they are the dirtiest team, doesn't mean they don't deserve to be suspended more.

Kessel career playoff stats:

GP22 G13 A 8 PTS 21 +11

He's been a great playoff performer. Much better than "Gritty Guys" you think would be better to have.

But if the NHL lets them get away with everything, why are they getting suspended the most?

Florida lost third straight and are now .500 under coach Horachek. Thomas has looked average and they simply won't win if he doesn't play lights out.

I said earlier that no way the Flames can catch Florida but with their current form they look pretty bad and probably can't even play .500 hockey rest of the season.

Where did anyone say they get away with everything? I just read people say they get away with a lot. Strike three?

There's no way this guy isn't a troll, is there? Or do people like this actually exist in real life?

Phoenix beats Pittsburgh and are now 1 point behind Vancouver with 1 game in hand. They play Dallas in Tuesday, Vancouver plays Detroit on Monday.
