Mainstream media is awful when it comes to promoting comedy. That's a big reason why so many comedians do podcasts. I've heard guys like Joe Rogan and Marc Maron say they get much bigger, and better, audiences just by mentioning their tour dates on their shows.

I was holding out hope for a second Moncton show, but it doesn't look like that's going to be the case. If I can swing the weekend it'll be at the back of the theatre.
Good news if you still want the option. He added a second show in Moncton, tickets should be on sale now.

A big chunk of his act used to be about not wanting to get married, so it will be interesting to see what direction he goes now that he has tied the knot. Really looking forward to his show!

The best part about mainstream media's inability to promote comedy; So I'm reading the Sun and once a week they have all the event listings, and this week they really focused comedy, showing all the great acts coming to Calgary. They had some Canadian chick as the most important, and then a bunch of other small comedians, and no mention of these shows.
So you have Bill Burr coming to Calgary, literally one of the hottest acts in the world right now, had to add a second show, but the Sun literally doesn't even know he's coming.

Thanks for the heads up, I snagged 4 ....I was asleep at the wheel the first go around and missed out on tickets for the first 2 shows. I have seen him once before in Vegas on The Anti Social Network tour with Jim Norton, Dave Attell and Jim Breuer. That was the best live comedy show that I have attended and Burr brought his A game that night.
