Keith is a very good offensive player, but he plays on an offensive juggernaut. The Blackhawks have four players over 40 points and seven over 30. Subban meanwhile is the only Canadiens player over 30 points. I think if you put Subban on Chicago he might have 50 points right now.

Subban is on my team no question. It's actually legitimately hilarious that Bouwmeester appears to be more of a sure thing than the Norris holder at the moment. Even if you're married to 4 LD and 4 RD, you can't find space for a guy like that in one of FOUR slots? Come on.
If they take Seabrook over him I'm flipping the pool.

Yes I am a Calgary Fan, but I don't see Gio even getting a mention.

Really? with Hamuis and Vlasic getting serious consideration you don't think Gio is at least close? IMO he's better than both those guys.

I'm with you, not a chance and if he did people from outside of Calgary would be losing it on why they picked him. And he would be forever a scap goat (Rob Zaumner) if Canada were to lose

well he has gotten a mention
TSN said yesterday he's basically the 10th/11th guy right now and has a chance of making it
I think Hamhuis and Vlasec are better, but I would take Gio over Bouwmeester (if J Bo wasn't playing with Petro I don't think he's even a consideration for the team, Petro played just as good last year as he has with Bouwmeester this year)
but my guess is he won't go, if he does though, the 8th d man is not going to be the scape goat if a team loses

He's amongst every player in consideration stat wise, with much fewer games played then most. He's an outside shot, but I highly doubt there would be an uproar if he made the team. There are many good arguments for it.

How could Giordano be a scape goat? I doubt he plays more than one game if he's selected as the 8th defenseman.

Rob Zamuner, people are still cursing that pick...and he barely played
not saying I don't think he should make it or that it would be a terrible pick I just highly doubt he is chosen and would predict a negative reaction outside of Calgary if by some miracle he is.
and maybe its just the life of a Flames fan but nothing ever seems to goes our way, virtual locks Flames players are being left of their respective rosters

Zamuner played in 6 games so I wouldn't say he hardly played. Giordano has been getting a lot more attention by the media lately (McKenzie) so it shouldn't be a total surprise to the fans. Saying that, I don't think he makes the team.

he opened the gate for the other players...my point his people still bring him up when he had very little to do with the loss

My voting was matching the overall poll results with the exception of Subban. I am actually surprised he's got so many votes considering that he's not a very likeable character (i.e. his locker room episodes and clashes with teammates).

Any notion of leaving Subban off the team is completely ridiculous - and even more so if it's because Chris Lee made an absolutely ####ing god-awful call against him late in the Ottawa game. That call was all on Lee, not Subban.
He's one of the best and most skilled d-men in the world. You don't leave that home.

He's a fantastic skater that has great chemistry with Alex.
I thought our best defenseman was drew doughty last time and really stepped up.
