If Hall was on the team, it would be undeserving, but not outrageous. If Eberle was on the team, it would be laughable, he's turned into complete garbage.

In terms of the Oilers and losing streaks, that may depend on which of the Flames or Oilers gets to see Lindback in Tampa's net. My buddy in Tampa says that he pretty much gets the "backup Flames goalie" treatment under Kiprusoff.

It would be undeserving and a an indictment of the selection committee.

Ladd > Hall, no question about it in my mind.

There are simply way too many players who are more complete and reliable than Taylor Hall who are eligible to play for Canada.

I don't think that Oiler fans would want to see Hall or RNH on the Olympic team.

What if they suddenly see those players giving efforts and coming back into their own zone hard and playing decent defense (I know its a stretch) and then come back from the Olympics and continue to dog it.

at that point you can either become mad at the coaching, or mad at Hall or RNH for mailing it in and basically pooping on the Oiler colors.

I don't think they'd have to worry about seeing that. I think the dogging it is pretty deeply embedded into his fabric at this point. I don't think he could just flip a switch for the Olympics.
