I think as long as the European countries want to host it to have to let them.

Anytime there is a situation like a few years ago when Switzerland backed out the obvious choice is to go to Canada as they can host it and fill arena's with little to no notice.

Because it's regarded internationally as a kids' tournament, not a quasi-professional commercial enterprise. And as a kids' tournament, the location should be rotated out of fairness, not stuck wherever it will make the most money.

They had over 11,100 for the Sweden game yesterday. They will easily break the attendance record for a World Jrs held in Sweden. It is picking up support over there. They had good attendance last year in Russia as well.

It wasn't always giant in Canada either. 1995 was hosted in Red Deer...
