There aren't any giant prospects down there. If one of the guys on the Heat becomes a top 6 forward or a top 4 defense it will be a big success. There are guys who could fill out the back of the of the roster.

Holy crap , why do ppl think backlumds being show cased and Sven won't be here much longer? Cmon Sven got sent down last year and then came back to finish with a point streak. Burke wouldn't belittle a player in the media so badly then asks who wants him? In Backlunds case it's only the first so far no need to jump to conclusions. Christ feaster has not even been gone 12 hours . keep it together people

His thoughts are pretty obvious.
Not mentioning Baertschi is a little different than not mentioning somebody like Ortio or Reinhart.
He wants to get big. Baertschi is 5'10". Gaudreau he listed, but he's 5'8", and also plays LW.
Doubt there's room for two small wingers on Burke's team.
