Should be fun. Return of Jarome is cool and all, but I'd like to see some good hockey more than anything.

Funny that they chose this game for the new 3rd jerseys. I guess they want to show Iggy it ain't his old Flames anymore.

Should be a real emotional game for everyone involved. Hoping Iggy gets a standing ovation from the Flames faithful.

But once the puck drops, I am hoping it is all business and a Flames win.

The TSN feed will show them discussing the Leaf's latest practice.

I hate that they push the second game to TSN2. A lot of folks don't get that channel.
No kidding. Just once they couldn't broadcast just one game and make sure everyone can watch this. Also, in the age we are in now, can't they stream these things live from their website? Hasn't HNIC been doing that for years now?

Hope to find the full pre game up on youtube after.

Has a pre-game ceremony/tribute to Iginla been announced or confirmed by the Flames at all? Or have people just collectively hallucinated it?

EDIT: Never mind, I finally found mention of it on the Flames site.

Prior to puck drop, the Flames will honour former captain Jarome Iginla for his work on and off the ice during his 16 years in Calgary and it will an emotional experience for the players and fans alike.

Not sure if it was already asked, but does anyone know what time the pre game tribute will start at, and how early should I arrive to not miss it?

I was at Chinook mall today and ran into Monahan (shopping with his mom I would guess).
I was kind of surprised, so just told him good job and I hope he's back in the lineup soon... he was walking around fine with no boot, so I'm hopeful

Nothing specific on the site, I would ensure I was there in time for the usual lights out/puck drop like usual.

Just called and asked, the guy told me that as long as you're in your seats no later than 7:30, you shouldn't miss the tribute

The real question is... where's his other hand?

The Barry White groove comes to mind looking at that photo.

Pretty weird seeing that thread title.

I'm happy to see Iggy doing well in Boston and not having to carry the team and I hope he can get his cup this year. If anyone deserves it, it's him. I'll have to watch this game when I get home from work on Game Center Live.

That being said, stilll Go Flames Go!

For those of us that have to miss the game for various reasons, can someone post the Iginla tribute afterwards?

The Flames should have the video on their site after the game.
