Because he is Healy and people are going to hate him no matter what he says.
He pointed out how bad the Flames were defensively in the the first period using examples to illustrate his point and he was right.
Then commented on how tough the California trip is this year and said the Flames shouldn't have brought the Dads on this trip to watch the Flames get embarrassed. They should have chose an easier trip for them to watch.
And you don't think that's just a little over the top? That's why there's all the Suck it Healy comments (and deserverdly so). Also Healy said nothing about the Flames golf outing tomorrow with the dads (do some effin research Healy).

No he wasn't right, the Flames owned most of the play in the first. Do you only get radio in Brocket, because you couldn't have been watching...
I figured his play the last couple games might have to do with it being a "Father's Trip" and he lost his less then a year ago and was very close with him. Might be having a bit of a rough time with what's going on around him.
Out of thanks, but I didn't know that. Makes a lot of sense, thanks for mentioning it.
ramo played well and almost got a shutout. Oh well hartley just announced reto berra starting next game. seriously though good on kari ramo for playing well tonight. Pk was solid and pretty much the whole team was great. Stajan, smid and stempniak was feisty all night which was great to see. Good game and great effort.
WHY?!?!? I'm convinced Hartley hates Ramo.

Didn't see it, but being Healey I'm guessing he didn't state it as matter-of-fact-ly as your post is written, but instead had his usual attitude that had him taking a verbal dump on Calgary
I think he wasn't as clear about it being about the California teams being good as he should be but that was in part because of Stock jumping in with the actual DB line that should get people mad "no easy games when you are 29th in the league har har har.."
But if Friedman had said the same thing in the same tone it does not get the same reaction. His point was the California trip is tough, Calgary got whipped yesterday and looked poor defensively in the first and that is all true.
He is a talking head on a poor intermission show that needs to be loud and extreme to get talking time with the bozos they have on the panel. I think people take his CBC comments way too seriously. I doubt he really cares about the Flames one way or the other and certainly doesn't care enough about them to hate them.
