Flash...Oduya, probably deserved some PIMs...but, Yakupov can't let himself be taken off in crunch time for a 2nd pair D-Man...game situation dictates that he control himself and possibly get the lone call against Oduya.

Oilers have absolutely no team defense. Eakins system either sucks or the players have checked out.

Or both.

Oilers looked good on the power play (and that short handed goal), but they looked absolutely lost in their defensive zone.

They beat Florida in OT at the start of the road trip. So, they've lost 8 of 9, and their opponent has at least a point in each of their last 9.

After 19 games, there have only been two games where their opponent didn't go home with at least one point.

The Oilers have 10 points in 19 games, which puts them on pace for 43 over 82. They had 45 points in 48 games last year.

If the east wasn't a sack of #### then they'd have last locked up. Poor Ekblad.

The team actually made progress under Krueger last season.

They're back to square one now. Such a mistake to fire Ralph.

Ducks beat Vancouver. Canucks will be in tough to make the playoffs this year.

Oilers castaway Cogliano single handedly scored the EN goal against 4 canucks.

Maybe that's what Eakins meant by swarm defense

Completely disagree, Heather sings great. Much better than the wannabe opera singers at many other places.

She sounds better when she has the organist accompanying her... she seems to sing with a lot more power. I like her.

Dubnyk must have sold his soul to Satan last year to have that many wins. Can't believe this guy is a NHL goalie.

I'm always amazed at the Kevin Lowe and company's ability to find low quality depth NHL players. Anton Belov, Jesse Joensuu, Taylor Fedun and Philip Larsen. Where do the Oilers find these ####-gems?

I know Larsen had 3 points, but also finished a -3, which is probably great from an Oilers perspective though I guess.
