Did you tape the person that handed it out to a tree, pants them, then point and laugh at their groin?
Because you should have.

25 kids this year. I love to judge the people accross the street who have like 6 vehicles, run their deisel trucks for hours, keep all kinds of crap out on their front yard, also have a Porsche Cayenne and pretend to not be home for Halloween. I won't be scolding my kid for chucking eggs at their house 10 years from now, I'll be making sure we have at least 3 dozen past due ones in the fridge, and remind him that we really should be throwing those out tonight.
|
We just give extra candy to our neighbors to hand out on our behalf because our dog goes nuts from the doorbell otherwise. Not everyone who doesn't give out candy is horrible!

I had people show up at 9:20ish. It was the hero dad driving the neighborhood in his Subaru looking for houses with their lights still on. I guess I was one of the suckers. But seriously....

You should have given that kid a beer.

He had a smaller version of it, and yes it was playing Da Funk.
Final count was 60 for us, had a few early teens come through around 8:45 or so.

A DVD from Focus on the Family? The Goon should have called up a friend, and taken his kid back to that house later in the night as having two daddies.

We had probably 150 or so I stopped counting. It was very windy and wet out there last night so a bit surprised it was so many.

4 kids in Airdrie, I didn't expect many but that was lower than expected. I heard other areas in Airdrie were really busy though.

When I was out with my daughter I saw a kid in a commander Hadfield costume with a acoustic guitar for space oddity. He never did come by my house, but if he did I would have given him tons of candy and $20.

I had that happen too and it was totally odd! 5 yr old kid got the full size Oh Henry. 42 yr old Philipino mom/nanny got a couple of treat size Crispy Crunches. Should have just given one.

125 in Garrision Woods - roughly half what we had last year.
Best costume was a kid who dressed up as computer code from the matrix. Really cool - even had green Chrismas lights to go with it!

Mrs Puppet said we had about 20 kids in Riverbend. I saw more kids out than that.

We had 94 in Chaparral. Wasn't really a costume that stood out. I suppose the best costume would have gone to my 6 month old dressed as Yoda...

Have you considered entering your car in a small town parade? They never have any rules about who or what can enter and it is acceptable to throw candy onto the street for the children to scavenge between floats.
