We had an amazing third ... now we don't. Do not like, it looks likeone of those "unofficial merchandise" shirts.

Who do they pay to come up with this crap?. That thing is atrocious.

The jersey would be good if I they just went with a black C instead of the Calgary lettering.

Who seriously are responsible for the design? ####ing atrocious. Seriously, I wish we had fans who could submit in designs and have people vote for them.

I really don't mind it. Like the fact that for a word mark, they used the Calgary font at least, so they did their homework on that. Secondary logo is my favourite part of it, put those on the regular jerseys please, need to get rid of the flags.

I'm hoping either fake or it will look much better on an actual jersey.
First glance I'm not a fan of the overall design. That shoulder patch is damn sexy though. Should have used that as the main logo.
Throw the patch on a tee shirt and I'd buy that.

Brutal, and embarrassing. I am going to buy one and put WALMART JER-Z as the name bar, and sit in the lower bowl to protest.

Way better than I thought it would be, but there are aspects that I'm just not sold on. Interesting shoulder patch, kind of neat to see something original for a change. The wordmark with the black flaming C is a pleasant surprise relative to the nightmares I was imagining. That said, the entire thing definitely reminds me of one of those lame "sorta-jerseys" in Walmart. The shoulders don't jive well, not like the Minnesota Wild's new road jersey.
Very glad it isn't yellow, but I'm kinda on the fence right now so I'll hold back from voting.

Are you going to get it from China? After all these should be easy to knock off.

Damn that word mark, I somehow had high hopes for you.
It's not awful (though I know it's the Internet, so it's more politically correct to refer to something as either the worst or best ever) but it could be improved. That wordmark is brutal, but that shoulder patch? Sick.

Speaking as a professional designer I can confirm that design by committee & crowd sourcing both typically lead the best designs. I recommend both to any and all clients.
Here's the thing we all need to remember, as fans we're but one stalk holder in the process. There's owners, players, the NHL, and Reebok all involved as well.
And you wanna know the best part about being the "fan" bucket there? We don't have to attend the meetings, or discuss the boring things like manufacturing, distribution, copyright or god forbid... a budget.
It's a 3rd jersey, it's the time to experiment with new things, sure we may all hate the combination of everything we see here... but maybe in a few years time the horrible Alberta patches get replaced with something we see here. Or maybe the Flames accept that black isn't working and finally go back to the retros full time. Who knows... maybe it's like the peace bridge and many people end up liking it after a few years.

Looks similar to the one I bought at Walmart a few years ago for ball hockey.

Uninspired.. definitely saw better designs in this forum. Seems like they put the most thought in the shoulder patch, which ironically has that Colorado patch vibe from that thread about the jersey designs. They do look like baseball jerseys.
Retro Whites, Retro Reds, updated Young Guns era blacks, no horsehead, no flags, no Calgary font, no cream colored pants, no Ronald McDonald sweaters..
First guy to get FATA on the back of that jersey gets a beer at the dome every time I see him.

The pants do not match. The black across the shoulders is shaped in a way that looks pretty terrible. I like the socks. The black and white at the bottom look different and sharp. But so much of the rest just doesn't fit. And who the #$#$ is that wearing it?! Gio in 30 years after undergoing extensive chemo? Scary.
I actually don't have a problem with the wordmark and logo on the front, but the rest of the jersey feels like a bunch of mix and matched features thrown into a jersey in a kind unaesthetically pleasing way.
