Some of the more batshat crazy racist stuff I've personally seen was in San Francisco. Certainly anecdotal but things have changed a lot between my visits from a decade ago.

if the entire series of recent pageant winners hasn't been to your liking, have you also considered the remote possibility that your preferences are different from the majority? there would be nothing wrong with admitting that.
All the women in beauty contests tend to look very much the same, and IMO are generally not the most attractive women of that very narrow type. The really hot ones tend to already be models and actresses.
Also; most people don't watch these things, and generally speaking their popularity is going down in most countries, from what I've understood.

I've never really understood this sort of statement. It's like saying "I find her attractive, so everyone must!!"
I don't find her attractive. That is not to say that she isn't pretty, and that I can't appreciate that prettiness, it's just that my tastes run elsewhere. I just don't find myself 'attracted' to her. Though perhaps we are using different definitions of the word attractive.
