Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger37s Large gap in the Leafs arb case with Mark Fraser. Toronto offering $855,000 & Fraser has requested $2 mil.
lol 16 points and 3 goals in 150 games. Get over yourself Fraser, your replaceable. His fight card is impressive, 7-2-1 according to hockey-fights, but his winning percentages are low only taking 40-60 percent of the vote most of the time. His loses are obvious. Take the 850 and run.
I hope that arbitrator awards him 900k and Toronto assigns him to the Marlies. One good season does not justify a big bump like that. Who does he think he is - Adam Pardy?

That and him being a year away from UFA status. At most I think he's worth 1.25. This is where the old baseball style would benefit things as the offers would probably be 1.1 and 1.4. Instead, we have large spreads in hockey in hopes that the modway point will get the player their desired salary.

lol - Didn't Mike Milbury make Tommy Salo cry one year?
yup.
Milbury took that to an extreme though when he went to arbitration with Tommy Salo. With Salo sitting next to his agent, Milbury began ranting about how bad he was directly to his agent: Claiming that he was one of the poorest conditioned players in the league, that he wasn't an NHL caliber goalie, and tearing into him in what is considered one of the most infamous arbitration rants of all time. According to reports, Salo left the room to use the bathroom, and when he returned it was clear that he had been crying.
All 21 players have now settled before getting to the hearing
That's pretty neat. I am impressed that the players and GMs all preferred to get in a room and avoid going to arbitration. Doubly impressed with the Jets and Kings for signing their long lists of players that were on this list.
