Personally, I love Rudee's posts. You just have to find the humour in them. I always laugh when I read his posts, because I've given him the nickname "wrong and strong" because he posts very rigid, strong one liners, but is often anywhere from slightly to way off base. It cracks me up everytime.

Well for once Rudee might be correct; reports suggest a number of survivors were thrown from the plane's tail section when it opened up and the the plane did the cartwheel/spin maneuver; evidenced by the extreme roadrash injuries from people discovered on the tarmac that were thrown from the plane (like when a car rolls and you're not wearing seatbelt).

Girl, if she was run over, wasn't escaping the plane on own power, but was thrown, and then run over (perhaps landed in the grass or something and wasn't visible).

I'm not denying people were tossed from the plane but I'm saying the ones who died from being run over by emergency vehicles ("escaped"?) probably aren't the survivors being referred to.

Correct me where I'm wrong (am I defending Rudee....really?)

FAddiction said "There are reports now that one of the girls killed may have actually escaped from the plane only to get ran over by an emergency vehicle."

Rudee corrected by saying "I highly doubt she "escaped". She more than likely fell out."

So ya, Rudee is correct, a girl who got run over wasn't an escapee, but rather someone who got chucked out of the plane in the crash.

Spooky pic, Tuesday's Asiana Flight 214 comes in for a landing over the wreckage of Saturday's Asiana Flight 214 at San Francisco International Airport.

At least change the flight number!

Hey any landing you can walk away from is good enough.

I suppose...just figured the initial concern for all aboard is to get out as fast as possible and retreat to a safe distance, not check your facebook messages while strolling away from a plane catching on fire.

Very unforgiving culture. Those pilots will be lucky to get a job scrubbing floors when all is said and done.

Do you think the reporter realized the score as she read the first name? And if she did was the decision made that she was past the point of return and just go with it? You know kind of like these pilots did on their approach...

Well, I've been away all day, and saw it somewhere else just moments ago.
Didn't see it on the 2nd page of this thread so posted it here.

Jokes on me, I guess?
