It`s forcing me to update now too. Ahhh well. I only had that 30,000 card one to get. What was that?

Wheel is still full of snow sculptures, but I think I got the big things. Even got the Plow King stuff, though it just makes me want to buy Barney... which won't happen.

I think the 30,000 was the costington debt store and Mr. Costington.

Addicting game, I had around 50,000 before the game was updated...

I wish it was easier to collect the donuts.... hate that feature.

Yep I had to update once the Egg nog bar had a coin ready for me.

Now back to fixing up the Squidport and finding a better place for my skyscrapers.

The Christmas update was pretty good. It got me playing on a regular basis again. I had been neglecting it and playing only about once a week. I'll probably go back to playing every once in a while to check if they have a new story line.

Was kind of happy to see the Xmas event end but I find myself missing the snow set. Hoping they start Valentines day event soon as Level 38 isn't gonna keep me busy/interested for long.

Jeez, I look at some you folks' towns and think how the hell will I manage that when it gets that big. It will take me at least 5 minutes a pop to just collect all the building generated XP and cash, let alone assigning characters to tasks.

I like how they have semi-regular events to keep things going, but I too wish that donuts were somewhat easier to come by considering how much of the good and interesting stuff requires them.

EDIT: Question. Once you reach level 38 can you still get donuts from leveling up (without the level actually going up)? Sorta like earning level 38 over and over into eternity?

You can keep levelling up infinitely. Your level won't change, but you will get doughnuts when you reach the required xp. It does go up quite a bit each time though. Before this update it was about 465000xp to level up.

I don't collect buildings cash unless I'm bored.

I also don't assign tasks unless they come up from a speech bubble.

I have over $4.5 million so I have no need to keep collecting cash (other than to keep levelling up and getting more donuts)

Wow, the Squidport quest is going to take forever. Those planks for the boardwalk just keep jumping in price and time to construct.

I'm not sure if they have fixed this in the latest update, but if you build a boardwalk tile and the little title icon is floating and ready for you to collect, leave it alone. Have your friends tap on it instead as part of their daily activity in your city. You'll accumulate a # of handshakes for your boardwalk, and when you finally collect them, you'll receive multiple boardwalk tiles, for the price of the original tile. We been able to get this to work with 3 at at time, but some people can get up to 8 tiles at a time. Definitely helped with rapidly expanding the boardwalk

Really? I've always tapped them asap to start a new one. I'll leave the next one alone (mostly because I've basically finished with how I want my squidport to look. Although I do want something better for the boats (I hate the Greenpeace one as it sits on top of the boardwalk tile next to it rather than having the tile cover a portion of the boat.

It shall be done. I'll leave a tile there for anyone still checking this thread and willing to use that as one of their 3 daily activities in my Springfield. You can bet I'll do the same for anyone else.

3 days for a tile? Wow. I'm at 4 hours and $850 and I think it's a little ridiculous.

They have not removed the ability to stack as of the last update. Hence the 60ish tiles in my inventory It's pretty sweet actually. From my understanding you can stack on the squidport, the farm, the open air theatre and the news station. I haven't tried the farm or open air theatre(I don't have it) but have stacked on the other 2.

Interesting note - you can tap the squidport tile, leave the town, and come back to tap again, for all 3 actions. It's pretty nice getting around 2500xp per town. Makes levelling up a lot quicker.

My wife finally caved and spent some of her doughnuts. Unlocked Luann, as she comes with a quest, and later on unlocks food trucks. Good value for 150 doughnuts

I've got the boardwalk ready, come to Jonny_P19 and tap it three times. I'm curious if the multi-tile thing works.

I left my tile yesterday and people had tapped on it but resulted in no extra tiles.

It won't add 3 tiles to you, unfortunately. It will only add one. As the tapper you can tap it 3 times and get the massive XP for it each time.
