I'm in Strathmore, so we're fine. I have a brother in Okotoks, but they're way up high, so they're well out of harm's way. Haven't heard boo from him.
Mom and an uncle are in Turner Valley. Head nothing from that quarter yet either.
This is a dumb question I'm sure but I don't really know High River very well, and how to place certain spots on a map, in my head, but would the cemetery be affected at all? My daddy is buried there, as are my grandparents.
We're going to go for a drive down to Carseland-Wyndham later and see what the river looks like down there. That's way downstream of Calgary so it's probably ok. Likely running a little high but shouldn't be too bad, I wouldn't think.

I just told my parents to go and buy lots of groceries. I'm guessing they would need lots of water too? I'm guessing the water supply might be contaminated later.

If you think it is very serious (being stuck in a flooding house sounds potentially life threatening to me) just call the RCMP: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/ab/det-eng.htm

Thanks, sounds like RCMP will be trying to get him.

Bridges should generally be fine, they drive foundations deep into the ground. Getting onto the bridge looks like it might be a problem for some time.

1A is closed as well. Not really any other options that don't involve hours of extra driving at the moment.

I don't think it's possible to get from Calgary to Canmore right now.
The 1A is completely washed out.

1A is washed out, and closed. Canmore is effectively shut off. Highway westbound at/just past Banff (?) has a mudslide so it's shut. CP Rail has reported track washed out east of Canmore, so ain't nothing getting in or out or through that area today and probably not for a while now.

Since that line goes through the middle of town I would imagine there is some pretty serious pipeline controls (emergency shut down valves and shutdown control of compressors etc). I was likely a small volume, but can be pretty dangerous stuff.

Some reports on Twitter that two people are missing in Longview after a trailer capsized. Hopefully they're OK.

If you go to this guy's FB page (linked below), he has video of the road at Exshaw. River is running UNDER a house. I'm sure that house is toast.
Link
I don't know how to pull that video from his page or I'd have just done that and embedded it.
