Why O why do the league insist on changing some rule or other every year?.... The game is fine the way it was, the should be more concerned in sorting out the teams in non hockey markets that are losing money and draining the NHL and the other teams!!!... The helmet rule is nearly as stupid as the uniform rule, guys will now tip each other's helmet off, as for the spin o rama, heaven forbid someone shows a bit of skill!!

Then every players should sign a declaimer form when he signs with any NHL team stating that he is playing in a very high contact sport where injuries occur and it is at his own risk. All hockey players know the risk of hockey and are happy taking them risks as they make millions of dollars doing it. As for the helmet rule, as the Devils and Islanders game proved the players have already found a loophole- remove each others helmets.
