GeoGuessr, best time waster since TV

Yesterday, I was dropped on a snowmobile track in a high mountain pass. There was another snowmobile following mine at a distance.

No signs. Just whiteness and some rocks at twilight.

I moved around to see if I could look down onto a valley or something. No dice.

I guessed Alaska. It was Norway.

I love this game.

First attempt was 9300. One of the pictures was the intersection of two paved roads in the dusty middle of nowhere. No cars, no development, but fortunately I could see where the double-solid lines ended and passing lines started...for traffic that drives on the left! Arid climate and reddish soil were the only other clues and I got pretty close to the actual location of Perth.

Fun game!

Edit: Second attempt I scored 28901 but it took a helluva long time to research. Mexico, Brazil, Yukon Territories, Botswana and finally northern Sweden.
