Yeah, I thought the hit was technically clean. No interference, no charging, no head shot, no elbow, not from behind, no cross-checking... it wasn't even unnecessarily rough.

If you take hits like that out of the game, you might as well remove hitting altogether.

I agree. He never left his feet and it wasn't interference.

I completely agree with Friedman that, with a guy lying on the ice in a puddle of blood, that it is hard not to go with the 5 minute major. I have no problem with that.

But it is not worthy of further discipline

Price picked a bad time to become terrible again.

What a horrible shift by the Habs - looked like the Flames in their own zone a few times at the beginning of the season, standing still, waiting for someone else to do something

Goalies reversed, this game is like 8-1 Habs.

That was a nice Luongo move by Anderson. Slight contact turns into sniper shot.

Game over. Should we expect a riot?

Habs for all their shots have definitely not had the net presence the Sens have.

Leafs, Canucks, and Habs all lose their first game. Could the first couple days in the playoffs been any better?

If the Blues lost their first game then it would.

Pittsburgh losing would have been nice too.

Let's not go nuts here: I don't think the Islanders could beat the Flames in a 7 game series (with Iginla and Bouwmeester). You would have the take 10 players out of the Pens lineup before they have a chance at winning that series.

Facial and dental fractures with a head injury to Eller. Penalty or not that sucks for any player on any team. I hate the habs but that's unfortunate. On the flip side glad the sens won
