Sens win in OT, and the Jets are eliminated.

I completely forgot that the Flames perform according to what the fans cheer for. Next year we should try cheering for a Stanley Cup!

I would much prefer the players try hard every night so that the Flames don't turn into that abomination up north. We draft where we draft.

Ridiculous that possibly none of these 4 teams within 1-2 points of us will pass us.
Spineless losers.

Damn. That is going to hurt in Winnipeg. They were SO close, and will likely finish with more ROW than NYI, NYR, and OTT.

The abomination up north is a special case, certainly not the norm. I don't think any team in history has sucked that hard for that long.
Just feeling very let down right now that the Flames will likely miss out the elite talent they desperately need. I am not sold on any of the 'tier 2' players in this year's draft being a difference maker.

Boohoo. Glad to see the arrogance of that fan base that I know, knocked down another notch.

Had an idea!

Kane will say they lost because he's black.
So glad they never made it.

At the end of the day, we can only control what we control. We deal with what we deal with, and whether it's 3rd overall, 1st overall or 6th overall, it's in the Flames hands to turn around the situation. Excuses and blaming doesn't do anything, and doesn't get anyone anywhere.

It hurts but the team took a step this year and we can add sole free agents if needed. Losing out against teams who have fewer row than is really sucks though. At least we fought right until our last game day and came close with a young core. Proud of them and next year will be full of possibilities.

Things are going to get a lot tougher for the Jets next year too. No more butter-soft SE Division.

The Flames have done almost everything possible to lose games outside of scoring on their own net. I hope the Flames issue a formal apology to you for winning a couple games and letting you down.

Exactly. The Flames can't help how truly terrible other teams have managed to play down the stretch. They just weren't bad enough. Plus, Detroit and Minnesota should have had those games. Neither has any business in the post-season with that kind of play. Meanwhile, I'm directing my disappointment and rage towards the Oilers.

Didn't Kane play the race card during the lockout or something. I can't remember specifics but remember laughing at the absurdity of his claims.

Well whining at people here like it's their fault is sure productive. Nice job.
