Haha, Coilers never even threatened to score. That is one pathetic team up there. if this wasannormal 82 game season, this team would end up dead last yet again.

I just have no idea how a team can be that bad, it's insane to think about. They've picked first overall three years in a row and still... still they are this bad.

They are the worst managed franchise is professional sports. The Cleveland Browns laugh at the Oilers incompetence.

They don't play like a team; the Oilers are a collection of talented individuals who sometimes are on the same page.

I cannot believe how disjointed they looked today, MacTavish has his work cut out. I am hoping Feaster are learning from the Oilers' mistakes

I saw 87 too. So I checked and it was indeed the 86-87 season.

Canucks actually won the division in 92

Woops my bad. The Wikipedia page had the 92 season as a division winning year. Strange.

At least we can all agree that it's terrible regardless of the year.

Hawks make it 3-1 on a lucky bounce for the Hawks off the refs skate right onto Carcillo's stick.

Finally. Finally we play like the swaggering jerks that you guys have hated for the last five years -- and who actually deserve to be in the playoffs.

In other news, Oilers coronation delayed yet another year.

Well, the Jets are still on the playoff radar with their gutsy 2-1 reg win over the Sabres. Enroth was excellent in goal as he faced 39 shots in the loss. The Penguins beat the Senators 3-1 and did the Jets a huge favour as the Sens only have a 1 point lead on the Jets for the last playoff spot. Vokoun played well as he stopped 34 shots. The Red Wings aren't giving up as they beat the Coyotes 4-0. Howard with the 34 save SHUTOUT and Detroit is a point back of the BJs and Wild. The Ducks sweep the stupid Oilers as they fly out with a 3-0, Fasth with the 24 save SHUTOUT which gives them the Pacific div title and 2nd place in the west. The Canucks won 3-1 over the Bhawks and the win gives the Canucks the NW division and 3rd place in the west.

typically in a non lockout year about now is the start of golf season. Could explain the lack of focus for the team as well. Only a few on that team have played this late into April.

What a goof - a perfect host for Oiler broadcasts.
Did anyone notice how old and rough he looked tonight? Looks like all that losing is taking a toll on Gene.

Henrik Sedin passed Markus Naslund to become the Canucks all time leading scorer in his 905th game...Daniel Sedin passed Markus Naslund to move into 2nd place in his 905th game.
