Confused about what? Backes was going to square off with Ballard and all of a sudden he gets jumped from behind. Please explain to me why Backes was bleeding if Burrows didn't throw a punch?

Calgary is going to drop all the way down to the 6th pick tomorrow if they win. Brutal brutal night on the OOT scoreboard. Not even 1 point from any of the other "contenders".
At least Philly won I guess, though if Calgary was going to catch them they'd end up picking 9th or 10th anyway.

Seems to me that with the deep draft every other team is mailing it in.
Luckily the flames have some tough games coming up against playoff teams and teams contending to get into the playoffs.
