High leverage situation for Cecil here....and strikes him out. Good work from Cecil who has had a great start to the season.

Is Janssen wearing the wrong jersey colour? Looks like he's got the grey top on not the dark blue...and nevermind me...

A little tense at the end, but Janssen closes it down. Jays win 3-2.

Good win today. Jays get by with only 2 hits on the night. A great catch by Rasmus in the 5th (I think), and some nice use of the bullpen.

Ya he was actually warming up in the grey jersey, but made the switch before he went on the field.

2 hits - win. Goes to show what a great start can do for a club... Was great to see Dickey get going, as he looked sharp all night.

Nice to see a decent starting pitching performance for once I think that's only the second good start the Jays have gotten. FWIW I think Gibbons should have let Dickey finish the seventh. The Bullpen could use a bit of a rest and that burned one more arm then they would have needed to otherwise.

Win is a win... go get the sweep tomorrow boys. Hope Lawrie get's back soon and Bautista and EE bust out of the early season slump. With Reyes gone for a few months the rest of the bats need to step it up in his absence.

The game is about to start in 30min....there's been a confirmation that the Jays will check out how Lawrie can perform in Dunedin manning the 2b spot. I think he'll be fine, and I am glad that Joeybats actually volunteered to shift to 3B, temporarily, for the benefit of the whole team. I have no problems with the Jays doing it. History says that Bautista was a legit 3B/utility man before he became "JOEYBATS" and Lawrie as well in 2B when he was the top prospect for the Brewers. Let's get some W's rolling before the schedule gets really tough. Sweep Kansas while they're still on a slump, get the confidence up, and play some solid baseball against the White Sox next!

Let's go Blue Jays!

Some luck we're having today. Plenty of hard hit balls that result in outs, yet KC ties the game on a bloop and 2 ground balls through the infield.

Oliver hasn't looked great this season. And I'm not sold on Bonifacio yet, he scares me every time a ball is hit near him. His throw to the plate at the end of the game wasn't even close to the mark.
