Absolutely man. Considering the Jays have 3 wins with the starters having a collective ERA of 7 is a minor miracle in itself. Even with league average pitching, which these talented starters are more than capable of, this team has a couple more wins. The bats seem to be coming around too. 9 hits today, 12 hits yesterday.
Josh Johnson is a guy who relies on a hard fastball and him pitching in near freezing conditions doesnt help his game, this start should be a write off IMO.
My only real concern is the defence, a lot ground ball outs turning in to infield singles are brutal to see. Brett Lawrie coming back in will be a huge boost at third and some of those infield singles will turn into outs. Reyes is an amazing offensive player but just an average defender at shortstop, so I wont get my expectations out of whack defensively for him, but it will be interesting to see what plays out at 2nd base as Izturis needs to be better than Bonifacio has been.
