Maybe he was mad at Butler for scoring on him?
Would have been a shutout...

Had to get that awful awful road losing streak off of their backs. Glad that happened.

Horak certainly deserves his full time slot for the rest of the year and into next year. If consistency is the issue that will iron itself out with more time up with the main club.

Av's can toil and fill that 30th spot all they want. Jones can go to COL.

I missed the MacDonald thing at the end of the game but it is an interesting plot twist.

You know it's sad when you want the Flames to lose this game just to have the 1st overall pick.. haha.. through I am glad they won.

Aside from that, Horak is an NHLer. It would be criminal to leave him out of the lineup next year. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves to be here more than Baertschi. That's not a knock on Sven, I thought he had a solid game tonight, but Horak is ready.
I'd say defense and coaching are their biggest issues. Outside of Barrie and Johnson they really don't have anyone, they play Hunwick on the top pairing, enough said. If they were to hire a legitimate coach that can could good D then I think they'd be much better. But they really don't hire outside their organization so I have no idea who they'll go with if Sacco goes.

The Flames need to regroup after this win and focus on starting another losing streak.

Avs fire 40 shots on goal, but they're tanking on purpose?

Ok.

Bell rung yesterday and again today. I think it must be a you-know-what

I didn't get to watch the game tonight. Can someone explain why everyone is saying the Avs are purposely tanking? Someone mentioned them having 40 shots on net. What about their game was indicative of tanking?

I missed most of the game, unfortunately. Nice to see the Flames eek out a win against Colorado. The Flames might still find themselves last as they have a pretty tough schedule to finish off the season anyways. Finishing third last is just as good, imo, unless they are really set on one of the top 3. I would be happy with any in the top 4 available prospects this draft.

Sad to hear about Stajan. Doing everything right this year, and the guy just keeps getting his bell rung.

Just re-watched MacDonald at the end of the game. Definitely weird. Didn't partake in any fistbumping or anything. Pretty odd. Sven's look to Kipper after he said something to MacDonald was funny though.

Hope Stajan's okay. That prick, bieksa.

@ Nik regarding final standings.

You forget that Carolina, Tampa, and Florida still have to play each other several times.

Not sure where this fear of losing out on a top pick is coming from given the schedule we have to finish the season..

Canucks, Coyotes, Oilers, Wild, Red Wings, Ducks, Wild, Preds, Blues, Blackhawks

Tonight may have been our last win of the season.

anyone have on update on why Joey looked sad after the win??
Maybe hey were supposed to lose, Cammi & Tanguay decided to show up and score more goals than he opposition. It's just the Flames luck with the players they have - if there's a streak to be broken, they break it. Doh!

Definitely odd situation at the end there with Joey Mac. I felt awkward for the players. It looked like he was winded or something when he was slumped over like that. Maybe he took a puck to the groin.

Hopefully they'll all be three point games. Not really cheering for loses, more like cheering for other bottom feeders to win.

Tampa plays Florida and Carolina once more each and that's it. Carolina's schedule is actually sort of a nightmare.
