Nice goal by Backlund. He's been the most noticeable player offensively since the Iginla trade.

Ok, I don't mind saying it, Kerr is endearing in his own way and I like him.

How does Kiprusoff look so bad 2 games ago, to this unstoppable wall tonight? It's a totally different goalie!

It's the line that's the got the talent of a 4th line but the coach tries to play as the 3rd energy line, because the current GM wants/wanted to prove that the former GM's idea of a grinding, big, with some skill, 3rd line is antiquated.

cheap tickets, cheap beer=loud fans
Flames ticket prices are so high its mostly corporate...nosebleeds at the dome are the loudest section by far. Although the Flames play of late doesn't help either. 2004 cup run the dome was is loud as anywhere

It's sad that no matter how well they play there's really nowhere for them to go....but it's nice to see the effort and the emotion and pride.

I love when I get the Calgary feed. That word 'endearing' is certainly right, he's like a kid on Christmas morning. I think it's sweet as hell, and his Kerrisms kill me.

Am I right in saying that the Flames are helping themselves out a little by winning this game creating a little separation between St'Louis and SJ?
