the Yankees to show a little support to Boston in a unique way tonight:

Quote:
Here's something that proves even bitter rivals feel for each other in a time of tragedy: The New York Yankees will play Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" after the third inning of Tuesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
That's significant, because "Sweet Caroline" sing-alongs are a Fenway Park tradition. This would be sacrilege in the Bronx if not for what happened Monday in Boston.

Growing up a Sox fan I was always taught that the Yankees were satan... But hearing their fans singing Sweet Caroline, and seeing the smiles and tears in their crowd brings tears to my eyes.

Cardinals facing worst pitcher in majors and losing 8-1 pathetic.

Saw the score and assumed it must be reversed.

Here is a play by play you are't going to see very often.

Quote:
J Segura reached on infield single to shortstop.
J Segura stole second.
R Braun walked.
S Camp relieved K Gregg.
R Braun caught stealing second, pitcher to third to second. J Segura to first.
J Segura stole FIRST BASE

Trent Williams makes a great catch in centre field to give AJ Pierzynski a home run in the Rangers-Mariners game on Sunday. (Yes you read that right)

Tigers swept in Anaheim, seems like the streakiness will continue this season.

Matt Kemp is a really good dude.

Quote:
I almost cried seeing this video last night.

This YouTube video was uploaded yesterday by 'stayinhigh4209'

It was shot last weekend in San Francisco when the Dodgers played at AT&T field.

Description by 'stayinghigh4209'

Matt Kemp is such a great person. He came over after the game and made one of my best friends night he's fighting a tough battle and this was such a great gift by Matt Kemp ! I'll never forget this.

Kemp gives the fan a signed ball. Then he gives him his hat. That's not the end, he gives him his jersey and shoes!

Awesome.
