No question. As my edited post said, Feaster has his blame in this too. But the mantra was about change and wiping away the past and Feaster praising his buddy as a no nonsense guy who was going to foster change... change that was going to turn these players around and do what it took to win.
So far, not so good and looks like more warm air.

Well I haven't seen too much written about it outside of people here so it definitely seems to be a overreaction.
It was a coach cliche, nothing more.
There's a lot more to complain about tonight than what Hartley said here.

That's right, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He killed off Sherlock Holmes, then brought him back to life.

That has never been said, even by teams that have in fact identified a problem.
Google even returns zero results for that phrase.

That would explain this tweet from a couple years ago. Only question, is who?

AltaGuy has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000.

If Hartley had said the opposite, Feaster might find himself having a harder time than he already is making trades: "the answers are in some other dressing room!"

I don't think any fans 'want' the losses but most deep down know it's for the best. We all know the answers are not in the room and I believe deep down Flames management knows this as well. The answers now are in the hands of Ken King and Jay Feaster. Not the answers to why this group can't rise to the occasion but the answers to the question; You tried and tried keeping this core together but the evidence is now overwhelming that it's just never going to work. Ever. Now what are you going to do about it? Right now that is the only answer that matters. What are the owners and management going to do about this?

Meh, at the end of the day, we are a fanbase that is struggling through a bad situation. Thinking big picture, what Bob Hartley says at the end of this game, or any other of the past and future bad games this team will have, means absolutely nothing. The actions over the next few days will be what is subject to fan judgment. Getting upset over what people say at this point is like freaking out over a text message from an upset girlfriend. Or maybe you are the upset girlfriend.

Feaster has done a bang up job if you ask me.
He sold the "stay competetive" mantra to the "we dont want a Edmonton-esque scorched earth" folk
and he built a soft crappy bottom of the conference team with two average centers for the "lets rebuild this thing through draft" folk
see he's made everyone happy

This team has become a sick joke and its lasting way to long Hartley needs to call out some guy's and light a fire under there asses. I cant watch an other game of Iginla floating around the ice and wearing that C when he has no purpose being a leader he hasnt shown any body he diserves it. Top 6 trade them out and bring in some kids that will play every night.

While I'm in the trade iginla for the future that is a pretty week post. Year after year iginla has led this franchise as a captain on the ice and a leader off of it. Everyine has bad games I mean the guy is 35. He should be lauded for his contributions instead of being run out of town. It is hardley his fault the way this franchise has been mismanaged during his time here. As soon as we started to build defense first I knew we were screwed. Now at least the flames are starting to draft some talented forwards
I'm holefull that this will be a quick turnaround but feel like 3 years more out of the playoffs is a likely scenario and trading ifgy kipper and a few others will put us in the way.
