I think these last few games, the team isn't playing as a team because no one knows what this team will look like come April. Everyone is looking around wondering if they will be sitting next to the same guys tomorrow, of course you're not going to be playing like a team.

This team is built right now with too many supporting pieces that flourish in supporting roles. That's why we see some games where they are fantastic, their skill just all comes on at once, but without those guys that teams have to drive the flow every game, those fantastic games are too few and far between right now.

It's true, but unfair IMO.

This season we've seen him playing 200 feet, hitting, fighting. How much more can you expect from him at 36?

This team has done zero succession planning. They had 16 years to get ready for this. What a bunch of idiots.

I wonder if "Solutions are within the locker room" is actually code for "Get me out of here"...

Well of course Hartley says that, the solutions that he can have an impact on are in the room and that's it. He's not lying.

If Feaster fricking comes out and says that however.......

Is that his answer to everything?

Just throw the same guys out there. Juggle the lines a bit. Blame the players for not figuring it out.

It's really like Keenan lite.

I'm not even sure anymore. Columbus is a team full of guys who are barely even supporting pieces. I have no idea what the problem is. Pieces have moved in and out, coaches have changed. They need an identity and they have no idea what it is.

I agree that we need a full rebuild...of the fanbase and CP. Anybody hoping for 30th is an asshat.

To be fair guys, he's the coach. His job is to do the best with the players he has. It would be ######ed for him to suggest publicly that something needs to be done with the direction of the team.

Think this could be a shot at Feaster? Seems like it to me.

Problem I see:

Feaster is pals with Hartley is pals with Tanguay and players.

Feaster and Hartley don't want to make each other look bad. Tanguay couldn't care less (same for a few other guys).

IMO you can't have these reporting relationships confused by friendship.

This is just one of many problems.

It's not. It's the company line.
