Jeff Carter: 15 goals 2 assists. I've never seen anything like it.

Kopitar is one of the 6 best forwards in the game. Complete player.

Pfft that's nothing. Hall of Famer Joe Malone had an NHL season where he scored 44 goals and 4 assist:

Good for him.

Like I said, he wasn't even noticeable.

I almost left the Kings game in the second. I'm glad I didn't. If that team could figure out how to play the first two periods they would be unstoppable.

Carter is a joy to watch. I don't think the Kings have had a player who can score like him since Ziggy Palffy.

My 'Hawks chased Backstrom after the 1st...Former Red Deer goalie Darcy Kuemper allowed the Wild to get within 1, before Kane finished the scoring...Saad and Bickel both had a multiple point 1st period.

Did anyone catch what Duchene said about the ROR situation? You can tell he's not happy with him.

Would post the YouTube but I'm on my phone. Just YouTube search "Matt Duchene in Detroit".

I assume this is what you were referring to?

The Canucks and Sharks game was entertaining, it was nice to see the bad call in overtime not result in a loss for the Sharks. Neimi has been incredible for them this season and if he continues this level of play he should be in the discussion for a Vezina.

LOL on the Canucks as the Sharks beat them 3-2 in the SO. What a wild game between the Blues and Kings. A great comeback by LA to win 6-4 and they are hot, 8-2-0 in their last 10 games. The Bhawks just keep on cruising with the 5-3 victory over the Wild. The Wild did give them a scare but that was it. Detroit squeaks out a 2-1 reg win over the Avs. Jacob Markstrom get his goalie equipment and helps the Panthers win 4-1 over the Jets as Florida stops their losing streak. The Rangers beat the Flyers 4-2 which is secondary to the health of Staal, that was scary. The BJs beat the stupid Oilers 4-3 in the SO. LOL. The Hurricanes beat the Sabres 4-3 in reg time as life without Cam Ward begins a good note, Justin Peters gets the win in goal. Another great comeback by the Capitals as they were down 3-0 and win 4-3 in OT. Nice GWG by Fehr. The Islanders take care of the Habs 6-3. Life without Brodeur has been HELL for the Devils as they lose again, this time 5-2 to the Lightning. New Jersey's defense has been terrible lately.

Yes, because everyone of us saw that back in the 1918! Good times, good times.

it's funny that considering ROR is supposed to be one of those "heart & soul" players (as per his papa) yet it is duchene saying he just wants to play hockey, just wants to be an av.

nice to see ROR score an own goal in his first game back btw.

As for Marc Staal, that was ugly. It is hard to believe there are still players dumb enough to not wear a visor. Really hoping his decision not to doesn't lead to permanent damage to that eye.
