I was coming in to type this. Works hard, does whatever the coaches tell him, and does it with a smile on his face.
His attitude reminds me of the 60s and 70s when the young guys had respect for the older guys, the coaches, and the game. Love him for it.
Baertschi is the same way and that is why I root for these two much more than I typically care about individual players. I hope they are both leaders on this team for years to come.
Also, I do believe that being part of the Erixon trade earned him some populatrity points as well.
