Either Byron and Glencross with a promotion to the first line or, ladies and gentleman, Iginla is not on our top line.

I'm sure the lines will be juggled throughout the game. If I were Hartley I would switch Stajan and Tanguay, but we'll see how these guys perform in this winable game

I hope the latter is the case. Hudler Tanguay Cervenka has the potential to be a really interesting line as well.

Personally, I'd like to see:
Glencross-Tanguay-Iginla
Cammalleri-Cervenka-Hudler
Byron-Stajan-Stempniak
Begin-Jones-Jackman
By the end of the night, I think we'll see Hartley revert to these lines (or similar to them).

Richard Bachman took the ice for Wednesday's optional skate and appears to be the team's starter against Calgary.
He has a 0-1-0 record in two appearances for the Stars this season to go with a 1.88 GAA and a .944 save percentage. Kari Lehtonen played Tuesday night in a 4-1 win over Edmonton and the Stars play again Friday at Vancouver, so it makes sense for him to get the night off.

Don't pair Glencross with Iggy, it's been ugly.
Cammy - Tangs - Iggy
Hudler - Stajan - Cervenka
Glencross - Byron - Stempniak
Begin - Jones - Jackman

I agree with these lines with the exception, I'd put Comeau in place of Jackman.

Yeah either way, not much is going to happen on that line, it's sort of an afterthought to me..

Jagr got his 669th goal last night to take sole possession of 10th on the all time NHL scoring list, so that potential milestone moment is no longer an option against a Flames team that seems to relish in opponents achieving milestones. Speaking of which when Schroeder scored his first NHL goal against the Flames on Saturday all I could do was laugh, of course he scores it against Calgary.
Nystrom got his first of the season last night too, so that's out of the way. However the fact that Bachman hasn't had a win yet this season doesn't bode well for the Flames.
I think the Flames win 3-1.

Will Tanguay or Cervenka take the faceoffs? Or will they split depending what side of the ice the faceoff is on like Tangs has with Iggy all season? Nice to see Hudler and Cervenka crack the top line.

That depends if 35 year old Iginla shows up, or old man iginla shows up.

Are you being serious? Comeau rarely gets scored on when he's penalty killing, he still finish his checks, and for a fourth line guy he does what he needs. Jackman fights and loses everytime, doesnt kill penalties, and isn't very good defensively. Just wondering why you would take Jackman over Comeau?
I understand the frustration in previous years with a lot of the guys we have but a big part of the problem was Sutter.

It's the battle we've all been waiting for! Bachman vs. Irving, which mediocre journeyman will rein supreme?!?
4-2 Flames, with the empty netter. Cervenka, Wideman X 2 and Stajan.

I can say one thing, that both Comeau and Jackman can hit. The only difference is Jackman DOES hit people when he can. Also, a fighter that often loses is still better than one that doesn't stand up for his teammates at all. We need some kind of enforcer in our lineup, he may not be the best but he does fill the role. Also I liked him on the forecheck in Mondays game, hope he can build off that if hes in the lineup.
I'd say we have enough guys to use on the pk without Comeau and from what I see, he's not a great pker. Guy is too soft on the puck when he actually does gain control and he doesn't have the urgency to get it out of the zone.
