A classic airport error last night with two teams assuming they had the better flight instead of working the airlines. It results in the elimination of one of the most annoying teams in amazing race history.

so Anthony and Bates win it all! Good to see. I didnt like the other 2 teams very much although you could make a case for Max and Katie I guess.

The stupid NHL Twitter account posted a congratulations to Bates and Anthony almost immediately after the episode aired in the east last night, so I wasn't surprised by the result. They ran a good race and were good guys throughout, so it was nice to see them win it.

Hopefully Anthony got more than a 50/50 split of the cash, considering he never had an NHL salary to enjoy.
Having said that, after US tax it's almost moot

Anthony said he has been living cheque to cheque the past ten years playing in the minors. His split after taxes is still over $300k.
