I've got my fingers crossed, this team needs some Right Wingers in a bad way...it would be nice not to have to fill center and right wing with left wingers...

Butler would interest NYI - young D, can play in top 4, RFA so they control him for one more season at least and can keep the deal in their price range or flip him.
If they are looking to dump the Vishnovsky contract, package that with Nino for Butler and whatever assets the flames can get for flipping Cammalleri/Bouwmeester. Gets money off our books and keeps it off NYI books with the third team involved

The fantasy trade people need to work out three-way deals if they want to include Bouwmeester.

Bouwmeester (Flames pay $1M of J-Bo salary) to Detroit
1st (Detroit) + Reinhart to NYI
Nino + Vishnovsky to Calgary
Don't know if I would do this but it is a thought.

If NHL teams were countries, the NYI would be North Korea.

I guess that depends on whether or not they plan on drafting off the board again.
If the question is really; would you rather Feasty did the trade last year and we had Turris instead of Jankowski? Then I'm guessing most people would say yes, do the trade.

Jankowski + Seiloff + whatever else we needed to give for Turris
I think it's a push really. Seiloff looks like he'll be a solid NHL D-man once he arrives, and Jankowski has flashes of elite skills even though he won't be NHL ready for 2 or 3 years. Just depends whether you're looking for more of an immediate impact that's a more sure thing or if you want to possibly fill multiple positions effectively.

That's true but at the same time I am a believer that Jankowski will pan out we just have to be patient. Turris today would be pretty awesome.
Using hindsight trading our first for Turris then trading Jokinen to the Preds for their 1st (what they moved for Gaustad) would have been the ultimate move

As for Niederreiter, I'd give up any defenseman outside of TJ Brodie, including Giordano or basically any forwards that we have except Baertschi, Backlund, Gaudreau, Horak, and Janko.

I wonder if Butler+Reinhart might be enough to get it done? I could definitely see the Islanders having interest in Max I would hate to give him up but to have that Swiss connection it would be worth it imo

I do think neimiz would be part of the package as an add in.
Islanders will most likely want a roster player, a so so prospect and something else, a better prospect or pick. maybe we can get Bailey out as well since it seems like him and the Isles have issues too.

What did Turris end up returning?
That will be in the ballpark of what Neno returns.

I agree that Nemisz like has zero value right now due to the start of this season but it would be foolish to give up on him as a prospect due to him getting off to a slow start after missing the first 19 games of the season due to injury.
This is a guy that impressed at the end of last season during his call up to the team, and looked good on the line with Sven during his 9 game stint. He looked to be developing into a good defensively responsible third line center.
He then had should surgery and as a result has gotten off to a terrible start, that is not a reason to just throw him into a trade while his value is at an all time low.
