Sorry my bad, you're right.
That being said, I think that covers most of the companies that I was replying about refered to.

I guess not the Katz Group specifically, but it's not like we didn't find out when he made sizable political donations anyway.

I can only speak as a member of APEGGA + APEGS, but I'm 99% sure their financial records are already made public. I remember getting a copy of the annual report detailing their financials like any public company. I'd be pretty shocked if the AMA / Law Society didn't do the same since they would all have similar legislation as professional bodies.

That kind of reporting is one of the basic requirments of every corporation in Canada.

But don't let facts get in the way of your outrage.
Outrage is not synonymous with lack of objectivity but don't let your condescension get in the way of your opinion.

Unions existed before they were recognized by law.

Labour unions have existed in Canada since the early 1800s. There is a record of skilled tradesmen in the Maritimes having a union organization during the War of 1812.

A key development in the growth of unionism came in 1872 when printers in Toronto went on strike for a nine-hour-day. Union activity was illegal at the time, and many prominent labour leaders were arrested. Mass protests ensued, resulting in the dropping of charges and the legalization of union activity.

This has no relevance to my comments, as it does not relate to any points I made, nor any opinions I presented.

Really?
You can see a ton of information about every reporting issuer. Including salaries of their executives, boards, and other top paid employees. You get disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest of management and of related third parties. This information is available to everyone, not just employees and shareholders. And if you are willing to dig, you can find incredible amounts of information.
