Rod Davis was terrible for Edmonton two years ago, I can't remember him from last year in Montreal but I guess he has played CFL before so is a body for TC that understands the game and maybe can fill in as a replacement in case of injuries.

Good signing, played really well in edmonton before signing in montreal. Lets see if he can still play at a high level.

Solid special teams player. One of those guys every good teams needs, but only the astute football fan notices. It was a shame he suffered that injury that might have contributed to the end of his career.

My favorite Calixte fan moment actually comes from off the field. Typically I go to the Labour Day re-match every year up in Edmonton and take the train to and from Commonwealth. After a Stamps victory a few years ago(Seems like pretty much every year it's a Stamps victory), we saw this guy on the train wearing a 'Calixte' game-worn jersey starting up a chant among the Stamps fans on the train: "SPE-CIAL TEAMS, SPE-CIAL TEAMS."

Thanks for a great career Marc and hope that retirement treats you well!

right now it looks like four going into Camp

Tate, Glen, BLM, and the new guy that they just signed the other day. Sinopoli is coming into camp as a slotback.

I would expect that they will try to find one more pivot for competition and to be able to rest arms during Camp.

But yeah, unless something changes Tate, BLM and Glenn will be under center

Darron Thomas (former Oregon QB) coming to camp; listed as wearing Flutie's old #20: http://www.stampeders.com/roster/show/id/5565 I'm guessing he's playing for a spot on the practice roster, unless there's an injury. Otherwise it's a pretty solid 1-2-3 with Tate, Glenn, and Mitchell (not necessarily in that order).

Calgary Stampeders‏@calstampeders5m

Stamps acquire non-import OL (and former @UCDinos star) Dan Federkeil from @TorontoArgoshttp://tinyurl.com/bualcdm#calstampeders#CF: #YYC

http://www.stampeders.com/article/st...l-from-toronto

Quote:
The Calgary Stampeders have acquired non-import offensive lineman Dan Federkeil in a trade with the Toronto Argonauts. In exchange, the Stampeders send non-import linebacker Akwasi Antwi to the Argonauts. The Stampeders then signed Federkeil to a three-year contract.
