I know it was last night, but was I the only one who laughed when Sven started drinking the promotional milk when he sat down for his scrum?

I don't really have much insightful to share about tonight's game as I was only paying half attention for much of it due to having to fulfill the requirements of being a boyfriend.

- The start was dreadful, but once we tied it up the tides turned and there was no looking back
- I thought Sven was better tonight than last night. He seemed to be more engaged physically and better defensively.
- Reinhart wasn't as noticeable tonight.
- Breen and McCarthy were unnoticeable in that good way again
- Lamb seemed pretty poised with the puck and I never noticed any mistakes on his part.
- Kolanos has excellent hands.

Saw Scott Ford after the game when I was leaving. His cheeks are swollen and he's got a couple of stitches too haha. Way to go Breen!

Haha they're supposed to drink it I believe. Most of the players don't though or they'll take it with them when they're done. Last night Danny Taylor chugged it before he left the room.

It's a Ward thing. It's how they finish practices. I think it's a sign of team unity or something, but them doing post-game is completely new this season.

I like the double-clap. It's a way to the salute to the fans that isn't the same way that every other team does it.

Too bad the arena was so empty. Hopefully a bunch of the people who come out next weekend to watch the baby-Nucks will enjoy watching the Heat so much that they start showing up to more games.

Speaking of the Wolves, they had 14,505 at their home opener on Saturday.

Hey Oliwa, don't change it but it's always puzzled me that you have Jamie Macoun fighting Ron Delorme in your signature. It was a great fight and I liked both players but I'd have thought you'd use an Oliwa fight.

No that was just on the first game highlights. Not sure why they did that. But yesterday's game highlights had Ryan Pinder's play by play.

Irving is on a pro tryout contract that limits him to 25 games and can only be renewed once. There is a chance that dressing as the backup will eat away those games. Taylor got the opening night start because of how well he played at the end of last season, he likely payed the 2nd game because he was so great in the opener. I doubt you see Irving dress very often just to sit on the bench.

Ideally a physical, rugged RH vet. Wait a minute, that describes that Cory Sarich guy!
