Once you select your team after the team draft has been done.
I forgot to acknowledge that with us doing Continuous OT in the regular season that there are no overtime losses points awarded. So the standings would be based on a winning percentage system. Is this okay for everyone? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Why don't we just start the team (jersey) selection draft now? Is there a reason why we're waiting until Tuesday?

The day that we're aiming to make the league live is on Friday, so I gave a three day grace to get the draft done.
Either way, the season begins next Monday in any scenario, so wouldn't make any difference.

I wouldn't be able to do that. You have to enter the league through the game to do that.

As every season is centered around the 12-13 season schedule, every team has to be from the NHL. It would be awesome if one could pick the Halifax Mooseheads or team Canada though!

Not every season. Just the first season is under the 12-13 schedule.
