You can check the leader board. There is a button that looks like people. Hit that button.

It suppose to pour all weekend in Victoria and with the US Open on I will be spending a lot of time on this I think.

One thing I have learn is take advantage of the Layovers. Keep flights short and try to have a main hub or two to bring passengers in.

At first I was just flying all over but it's worth planning it out a bit as you have a better chance of getting the bonus $.

I've done that but it only shows the names of people I've added on game centre. I have no way of knowing which of the others is me. Weird.

Maybe a privacy thing? They don't even show the names of the teams other than the one you are part of.

Sounds addicting and fun... Do you have to spend money for in game purchases or is it free?

It's a Freemium game. There is an option to buy 'BUX' but I haven't had to do it once or even really thought about doing it. They make it very easy to get coin/bux so I don't see a point. Maybe as you get further into the game? But even then you will have more planes and airports to make more money.

I haven't got anything done today at work. My boss even came by my office and said every time he walked by I had my head down looking at my phone.

I thought it was strange that you weren't showing up on the leaderboard. You might want to check your settings or something.

The "Goons" over at Something Awful (of which I am one) have a big thread on this, looks like their team is in the #2 position world wide (just skimming the thread now). They have a huge forum population, so I think it would be incredibly difficult to catch groups of their size.

Got up to level 8 last night, time to start focusing on getting some more blue cities and going for longer range flights.

A note about the rewards for the global events, everyone on the winning team gets the number of bux specified if they completed at least 5 deliveries for it.

I've also heard that you only show up in the flight crew rankings if you are participating in the global event. I didn't have a chance to do the Calgary one, so perhaps that is why I don't show up in the rankings?

Yeah, you need to do 5 to Calgary to get in on it. If you started far away from Calgary, you can buy Calgary and some other close city, retire one of your planes, and put it back to service and choose Calgary as its starting city.

I'm not surprised SA is doing well on this. The goon rush has always been successful. They will end up getting the same reward we will though, since the Touch Arcade kiddies are swamping the game and will easily win. There are lots of people joining the Touch Arcade crew just to mooch the easy win too.

We just need to hold on to our current spot or lock up 8th and we'll all get 10 bux (that was confirmed by a NimbleBit developer, btw).

I'm thinking I'll start dumping some of my black airports and move more into longer distance blue and red. I already have New York, wouldn't mind locking up LAX and some points south as the range gets better on the a/c.
