I've never been bit by a spider. Is the venom roughly the same? My doctor never even brought this up. I'll hit WebMD in a bit and see what it says, but now I'm good and creeped.
I didn't post that very well. I should have said that if you are allergic to bee stings you have a higher chance of being allergic to spider venom. That being said you are probably safe with the spiders. Disregard my other post, too much codeine today, lol.
Death or being maimed/paralyzed.
Cancer or other deadly things like heart attacks.
Small spaces scare the crap out of me. Once when i was a kid we went to the museum of the regiments and for a "fun" drill we had to drag oxygen tanks under the tanks parked out front. Scared the crap out of me.
Spiders and hornets/wasps. Not sure I've encountered something quite as scary as a hornet in the car while driving.
That reminds me of a couple summers ago when yellow jackets had built a nest inside my bathroom (which is very small) wall, and stepping out of the shower a few times to 2 or 3 of them buzzing around the light bulb. You feel pretty vulnerable in that situation in your birthday suit!

I assume you to took the proper steps to get rid of them by burning your house down?

Sorry to disappoint you but no. What worked was drilling a hole in the drywall where i could hear them, and squirting ammonia in, after which i hastily covered the hole with tape. I was lucky though because I realised (read) afterwards that you can drive them into the house by using similar methods.
It sounds like time to call on the services of protective (preferably large, ill tempered) brothers, uncles, fathers, friends, friends of brothers, etc, to inspire a healthy sense of fear.
Didn't want to bump a 6 year old thread so figured I'd start a new one.
Can't sleep, I just watched a clip from IT, and was quickly reminded of the sheer terror I feel when I see clowns. If I see a street performer clown, I will cross the street to avoid them. I don't know why, but they creep me out more than anything on this planet. I would sit in a bathtub of tarantulas, before I would give a hitch hiking clown a ride.
I hate clowns, and they all should be punched in the face.
Apparently as a small child I was also terrified of 70's Jumpsuit Vegas version of Elvis. However I don't remember that, but I am always reminded of it by my folks.
What scares the crap out of you?
If I could, I would go full-blown Inception on you.
I would have you swirling around in a sink-hole in Georgia or somewhere, floating in a bathtub full of tarantulas-- surrounded by clowns in other bathtubs full of tarantulas. All the while, I'd be in a 1970's era Elvis jumpsuit, tightrope walking over said sinkhole and laughing maniacally.
Oh, and I'd be throwing water balloons.. full of wasps.
The song Blinded by the Light gave me nightmares starting at age 5. I don't know why, but to this day it still creeps me out a bit. Every time it comes on the radio, I feel like I'm about to die.
Whenever I am around open machinery like gears and chompy metal things spinning around I freak out and really don't like being there. I used to have a lot of dreams of dying by being grinded up in a machine.
Sharks.
Death... Well more the infinite thought of death, maybe it's a lack of ability to understand, but it's slightly terrfying being dead forever given that I can't grasp forever.
Being nostalgic, sometimes it's terrifying as you really can't go back and life often seems to be so much about the past.
Time passing quickly. Comes NHL 2012/13 summer will suddenly be over and I'll think back on a few alright times and wonder where did the time go. Next I'll do the same thing again but I'll be 75.
Nearing retirement poor or broke.
My dog dying
Family member dying.

The Bruce Springsteen version or the Manfred Mann version?
